　　旅游英语翻译现状中国的旅游资源非常丰富，而旅游资源的国际知名度却不够理想，多数外国人只知道北京、上海、香港，对中国其他的旅游胜地却知之甚少。外国了解中国旅游资源的途径主要有两个，一是文字和媒体资料，二是互联网信息。近年，我国的各大旅游城市和著名景点都出版了中英文的旅游介绍和导游手册、光盘，内容也较为详尽；各大城市的政府网站也都设有旅游英文专版。但是，目前该领域的汉英翻译缺少专门人才，随意性很强，大多旅游资料的翻译出自翻译公司和学生之手，而各景点导游的英文水平也参差不齐，这就造成上述旅游英语的书面及口头翻译常有错误，更不要说街道、宾馆、饭店等辅助旅游设施的英语翻译的准确性了。因此，提高旅游英语翻译的整体水平，改善中国旅游景点介绍及周边旅游环境的汉英翻译状况，对加快中国旅游业的发展具有极大的推动作用。汉英翻译的第一步就是正确理解与选词。面对一连串的英语同义词，能够从中选出符合旅游英语表达习惯的词，是旅游英语翻译的基本功。因此，译者要多积累、多熟悉旅游英语所用词的搭配和内涵。如果盲目选词，忽视这个词的专业性和译文语境，就会导致译文出现错误。　　　　例如：有把“精品游览线”中的“精品”译成essence，显然用词不当。essence可指“精华、精髓、精粹”，但绝没有原文“精品”的本质内涵。汉语的“精”字译成英语时在不同的搭配中要使用不同的英语词，如“精炼语言”（succinct language）、“精制蛋糕”（well-made cake）等。因此在“精品游览线”这个搭配中，“精品”应理解为“精选”，最好译成choice 或well-selected。

国外”并不等于“说英语的国家”。要分很多种情况，难度从低往高依次为：【基本没问题】日本，新加坡等等，还用解释吗？【超级大热门旅游国家】比如韩国、泰国、马来西亚等等，公共场合中文标识很清楚，华人很多【以英语为母语/官方语言的国家】有美国、英国、澳大利亚等等你熟悉的，还有马耳他、帕劳、波多黎各、塞舌尔等等这种你不怎么熟悉的，至少你认识点基础词，可以以词为单位交流，可以查词典【不以英语为母语的发达国家】法国、德国等，至少公共场合英文标识清楚，会说英语的人多【不以英语为母语的非发达国家】Good luck...你就按着难度等级慢慢玩。当然，也是有一些小技巧可以让你更从容：1）还是尽量学一点英语，生活常用词其实并没有多少，也就一两千，真的不算不可能完成的任务。2）手机上装翻译App，就给你推荐一个google translate，可以用汉语直接翻译当地语言，还能发音，特别好用。目前我还没有看到更好的翻译App，如果各位有推荐请留言在评论区，谢谢啦。3）为了防止网不好，买一本手掌大的纸质小词典随身带。4）带纸笔，很多时候，身体语言和画画可能让你们沟通更快。5）作弊的方法：找中餐馆，一般都能普通话交流问路什么的...不过有时候会碰到越南人开的中餐馆，或者只会说福建方言和粤语的。6）行程安排方面，尽量不要在晚上初次到达一个地方，最好是白天到，人对于新环境是需要一个适应缓冲期的，在机场转转缓一下（我一般会在机场吃一顿饱饭，整理一下行李，休息一下，和在机场旅客信息中心翻翻资料和工作人员说说话，Wi-Fi看好地图，研究一下当地公共交通），慢悠悠不着急去市区，找住的酒店，你会发现，习惯和融入一个异域环境，没有预想中那么难。其他的，想到了我再补充过来。最后，给你多一点信心：当去以英语为母语的国家时，就算你只会蹦单词，也能磕磕巴巴交流，参考来中国旅游的老外，他们中文说得那么烂，你不也能大致知道他们在说什么嘛；当去以非英语为母语的国家时，可能他们的英语比你还烂，你托福雅思满分也没用... 追问 谢谢

出国旅游，英语是不是必需品？

我觉得看人。如果你只是单纯去旅游，走走看看。基本上你用手语表情都可以搞定。

但是如果你想要更多的融入感，英语真的是一门交流利器。

我在俄罗斯出差的时候，我不懂俄语，英语还是可以的~所以出差之前我恶补了俄语的基本发音，保证自己能够拼读任何的俄语单词，同时记住了最常见的一些礼貌用语和生活用语；因为大部分俄罗斯人和我一样，懂一丢丢英语，俄语是6的。

我当时一个人坐着地铁去红场，第一次见到那么多鸽子不怕人，很兴冲冲的跑了过去想要抚摸他们；

三个俄罗斯大男人就直接热情的接过我的手机要给我拍照，坚信人性本善的我当然直接给了，他们很认真的帮我拍了三四张。当我去要手机的时候，一场拉锯战展开了。

拍照的时候其中一个男的拿拍立得还是啥帮我拍了三张，并且洗了出来。然后直接开口跟我要钱，大概人民币100-200多三张照片，具体记不清了。

我一个如花似玉身形如胖豆芽菜般的小姑娘瞬间懵逼。你要知道他们都是俄罗斯人！块头大啊！

我看了下三个人的面相，貌似不是穷凶极恶之人，旁边也有游客，应该不会对我动手；

我就一直装听不懂，用仅有的俄语，带上小鹿斑比的眼神说please, 英语I don't know。 what?? 如果这个时候没有一点英语底子或者俄语底子，我估计大部分小伙伴都会直接懵逼，直接给钱吧。然后特别紧张不知所措，因为你不知道发生了什么，你就不知道该采取什么措施；后来经过我的唇枪舌战，我砍价到了7-8块钱拿下了三张照片。还有和他们的合照~~T.T 我也不知道为啥，经过一番讨价还价，我觉得好像四个人产生了革命般的友谊。我觉得我可能是斯德哥尔摩综合征。

所以我想表达的观点是：如果你只是纯玩看风景， 买买买buybuybuy，没有英语，无所谓的。

而如果你想感受一个地方真正的人文，在旅途中碰到各式各样的小伙伴，碰撞下你们的大脑洞，在紧急情况下靠自己，掌握一点英语真的会让你更加充实。~

没啥软用。买不起的还是买不起。看不到的还是看不到。不敢搭讪的还是不敢搭讪。所以结论是不会英语也请大胆地出国旅游吧！！！
