英语专业是不是很鸡肋的专业？

那些说学XX是鸡肋的各位我并不是针对某个人也不针对某特定学科，而是说在座所有觉得鸡肋的朋友们你们学什么都是鸡肋学英语，想靠英语本身吃饭请你至少要朝着native speaker努力，去杂志社投过稿吗？做过全英文辩论吗？和外教说话是666还是233？想做教学要么读研读博，要么雅思托福刷成绩，要么去考小学中学高中的教师资格证书如果觉得自己英语能力技不如人或者容易被海归秒，想脱离英语工作环境需要藏拙，请尽早转成商务/会计/翻译/销售/传媒/法律相关的职业，并且尽快学习相关知识别特么再说专业坑爹了，张露杨澜马云都是英语系的，哪一届哪个学校没有大神去新华社外交部，怎么就你找不到工作。毕业先过了专八，二外至少达到中级，你的四年学习才算合格。至于合格的这批人，我觉得你碰见四六级的非英专的学生，英语能力至少理论上不会被秒，至于海归，他们学过语言学吗？他们知道索绪尔和乔姆斯基吗?他们知道英语复杂句的语域重心在哪里吗？他们知道shadowing的时候怎么停顿不会影响跟进吗？他们不知道，但是你知道啊，这就是英专的力量啊。口语和写作是英语系学生的最大优势，大学四六级的高分学生和你的差距也在于此，他们不会去划括号来分析句子，也不会略读文章。他们能从事英文职业靠的是触类旁通或者天赋异禀再或者天道酬勤，而你不一样，你可是科班出身，语料庞大，语感强烈，就算看不懂美剧生肉，至少匀速CNN一句句跟下来是没问题的。英语专业不是鸡肋，一个锦上添花的职业本身竞争力不高的确如此，容易受到海归海带海鸥冲击也是常识，但是你要知道哪些学科是其他专业绝对碰不到的，哪些能力是其他专业无法培养的，你就不再缺乏竞争力了。最后赤裸裸的谈谈薪资，自从跳出了撕逼的外企转行之后，教学这方面，留考教师的薪资还是不输程序猿的，虽然成长性不高，但是起点也算足够了。月入5位数也是常态，跨科教师的薪资就更不止这些了。总而言之，觉得英语专业是鸡肋的各位，其实英语系也觉得各位是鸡肋。（系主任原句）且学且珍惜吧

【背景介绍】个人英语水平：英语授课硕士一年半；4年前雅思7分；三个月前又裸考了一次雅思6.5；两次考试小分都比较平均，没有特别大的偏科。想继续把雅思刷到7分，就买了99元的一个月的课程。

买了一个月的课程，上了三天，全是在重复四级的听力、句式还有口语，觉得实在是浪费时间，就放弃了。

产品最大的问题在于：测评不是第三方测试，也不是标准考试。由测评方提供售卖服务，这样的测评标准本身大家心里应该有数；下一条详说。其次，盲听复述能力在懂你英语的测评和整个产品学习中，占很大比例。不难理解，因为口语引擎是流利说的核心技术，他们产品所有的交互和体验都会利用这个AI技术。但是，问题来了，”盲听复述（且一字不差）能力“在”英语能力中“到底占多大比例，到底在什么维度衡量一个人的英语水平？在我来说，盲听复述在标准型考试中完全没有必要，理解关键词和语义，反而是很多标准化英语考试注重考查的项目。简单来说，就是，我听懂这个句子的意思就可以了，我听懂句子中的关键信息就可以了。如果拿完整的复述和发音来考评我，那也可以，那你就十年如一日的慢慢去学吧，总会进步，总有学成的一天。但这样的提高，在我看来，性价比不高。最后，懂你英语重运营（能理解）、重销售（不能忍），既然是一个技术驱动的产品，咱们对着机器人能自我提升，那群里的班主任天天艾特所有人，让你付费、让你升级，然后不断告诉你还有多少名额就不能补差价了，群里有多少人截图付费了……这样的销售手段，太打扰人了，和微商有啥区别。我真的，很想，退群。
